Wood is looking for a versatile, energetic professional to manage our business development efforts in Western North America. Reporting to our VP Business Development, North America, you’ll make a valuable contribution to our organization’s success by developing solid customer relationships at Tier 1 through 3 levels, support Mining Business strategy development and implementation by providing accurate market data, developing opportunities, and organizing and delivering compelling proposals to drive increased sales. Ideally, you’ll be based in our Vancouver office and available for significant travel as required to support customer and opportunity development.
You’ll work with senior management, technical and execution teams to identify opportunities to win and deliver capital-efficient projects that meet or exceed our clients’ objectives. You’ll be responsible for understanding the competitive climate, identifying and pursuing opportunities and leading, managing and/or supporting the preparation and on-time delivery of proposals. You’ll need to acquire a solid understanding of our client base, our capabilities and our global personnel, resources and offerings.
