Our work involves design engineering in all disciplines, and performing safety and engineering analyses using state-of-the-art engineering and analysis software, and interfacing with other engineering disciplines. Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting for Piping Engineers / Analysts with extensive experience in the nuclear industry.
Amec Foster Wheeler Nuclear Canada anticipates further opportunities for experienced engineers/analysts in the areas of component and piping stress analysis as well as fitness for service analysis. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team that provides comprehensive engineering service in the areas of piping, component and pressure vessel analysis. The individual should be aware of the business and operational aspects associated with piping/component design and fitness for service assessments.

The successful candidate will be recognized by his/her peers for professionalism, superior performance, knowledge, expertise and ability to work in team environment with members of the Piping Analysis and Feeder and Component Analysis Sections.
Candidates must have a P.Eng designation, or be eligible to obtain this, within a reasonable period of time. The knowledge and skills required would normally be acquired through the successful completion of a university degree in an appropriate field and a period of typically 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Candidates with expert level skills and experience will be considered at a higher level, with a compensation package commensurate with this experience.
