Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a Junior Ecological Restoration Designer to join our team based in our Mississauga or Cambridge, ON offices.

 

  • Design fisheries offset/compensation measures to support infrastructure and mine site development
  • Perform engineering calculations and develop hydrologic and hydraulic models
  • Conduct field investigations to support design needs
  • Produce written reports

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering, earth and environmental sciences or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO and/or SWMM model suites
  • Understanding of geomorphology and hydraulic processes
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
