Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking Laborers to join our dynamic world class team supporting one of the largest environment remediation projects in North America. Based in a thriving, south-eastern community, Port Hope, ON is accessible from the Durham Region; Peterborough, Oshawa, Whitby, Bowmanville, Courtice.


Location: Port Granby; Clarington, Ontario area


Key Responsibilities

  • General site labor
  • Physical work (Including hand digging, moving pumps and hoses, heavy lifting)
  • Fill in for other roles on site (Security kiosk, site control crew, etc.)
  • Work outside in variable weather conditions, rain or shine
  • Be flexible to support a 7-day a week operation on occasion, and willingness to take direction
  • Be available to help out with other positions as needed
  • Be part of and participate in our safety program 

Skills / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Construction experience an asset
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to take direction
  • Ability to work 10-12 hour days with OT
  • Valid driver’s license

Hours: 7am to 7 pm; 6 month term
