    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is currently seeking an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer in Burlington, ON.


    If you are a Civil Engineer with 5 to 10 + years of experience, and are looking for an opportunity to work with an established engineering consulting firm, we encourage you to apply. In this position, you would manage multiple projects and work with and mentor junior staff, sharing resources within a Water Resources Department environment.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Project Manager on multiple simultaneous projects including but not limited to hydrologic, hydraulic, water quality evaluations, Class Environmental Assessments and detailed design
    • Produce written correspondence and reports
    • Conduct reviews of engineering calculations and hydrologic and hydraulic computer modelling, including the following software: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Visual OTTHYMO, SWMHYMO, PC-SWMM, MIKE 11/12, GAWSER, HSP-F
    • Detailed design, estimating and contract administration experience considered an asset
    • Will work under the guidance and mentorship of other, more senior, water resources engineers

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
    • PEO Certification required
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience
    • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and Public speaking skills
    • Experience with leading staff and working with clients
