Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking a Project Billing and Accounts Receivable Clerk who is a motivated team player to support our Montreal office (Quebec). This position will involve both accounting (invoicing, reconciliation etc) and administrative support (word processing, telephone / reception duties) to the Montreal office. A dynamic person who is quality oriented and proactive to problem solving, will flourish in this environment. This is an opportunity to participate in the implementation of new processes and influence a growing organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Electronic Project information setup
  • Project budget reconciliation
  • Monthly project billing of the work in progress in coordination with project managers.
  • Meeting deadlines for monthly accounting closing.
  • Projects document control and the invoices filing.
  • Time sheets review
  • Entering vendor invoices in the account payables system.
  • Continuous communication with the customers to confirm invoicing and payment agreements.
  • Other related tasks

Skills / Qualifications

  • 5-8 years experience as an accounting clerk
  • Professional or technical Accounting Diploma
  • Bilingualism French/English with excellent writing skills
  • Excellent word processing and data entry skills
  • Demonstrate good sense of organization and priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent team working skills
