Overview / Responsibilities

Wood's Downstream &  Chemicals office in Calgary is currently looking for a SharePoint Support Specialist to add to our team. 



  • Coordinate provisioning of underlying SharePoint environments for all SharePoint based services on assigned projects
  • Deliver all required configuration to create project specific SharePoint based services
  • Coordinate and deliver content owner training for project SharePoint based services
  • Provide support to all project staff on use of SharePoint based services
  • Capture and document potential enhancements to existing project SharePoint services as well as new services based on project requests and support experience.  Coordinate with Wood IM Support Services Manager for prioritizing and delivery
  • Design, configure, code and test enhancements and modifications to new and existing SharePoint based services
  • Document configured SharePoint services sufficiently for ongoing support and future enhancements
  • Provide training to IM security specialists on SharePoint user security as well as group permissions and settings for project SharePoint services



Skills / Qualifications

  • Certification in Sharepoint Administration
  • 3 - 5 years' previous SharePoint Administration experience
  • Previous experience providing training to end users, including security specialists - Sharepoint training delivery experience is preferred
  • Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis to diagnose issues and rectify them
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SQL Service Reporting Services ISSRS)
  • Experience with JavaScript web application development
  • Experience with JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and XML development
  • Java, J2EE exposure
