  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood's Downstream & Chemicals office in Calgary is looking for a Technical Safety Engineer (part-time) to join our team to provide expertise for our projects.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Familiarity with system design for firewater, fire and gas detection and fireproofing
    • Undertake consequence modeling (PHAST, FRED)
    • Quantified Risk Assessments (QRA)
    • Participate in HAZOP reviews

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • 4 - 15 years' experience in a similar role
    • Registration in Alberta as a Professional Engineer
    • Must reside within 75 km of Calgary, Alberta
    • Must be able to work in Canada legally at time of application
