     Geotechnical and Materials Technician

We are currently seeking an Geotechnical and Materials Technician, with specialization in geotechnical investigation and construction supervision projects to join our team.  The position is based out of the Sudbury, ON.  

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Geotechnical test pitting and borehole investigations,
    • Construction supervision
    • Materials testing including compaction and concrete / asphalt testing
    • Laboratory responsibilities will include grain size and hydrometer analysis, proctor testing and Atterberg limits

     

     

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience providing practical geotechnical and materials services in either an industrial, commercial and/or mining related project
    • Good organizational skills with initiative and can handle challenges in the field
    • Ability to prioritize and multiple tasks
    • Customer focused orientation, ability to provide quality service to internal and external clients
    • Must have a valid drivers license
