  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, a global leader in providing engineering and environmental services is currently seeking a qualified Junior Level Geotechnical Engineer, Mining to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Project consulting and engineering for mining and infrastructure projects
    • An ability and willingness to interface with other related disciplines – hydrology, hydrogeology, geochemistry, permitting, etc.
    • Preparation of engineering designs, plans, assessments and studies
    • Opportunity to collaborate on projects throughout Canada and Internationally

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering required; Masters degree considered an asset
    • Current registration or eligibility for registration as a P.Eng.
    • Zero to three years industry experience or equivalent
    • Desire to provide excellent practical client service and a commitment to technical excellence
    • Strong written and oral communication (English) skills
    • Valid Driver’s License
