  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions Group is hiring Labourers at  the Port Granby Long-Term Waste Management Facility Project.


    We are seeking candidates local to the Clarington, Ontario area.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • General site labour
    • Physical work (including hand digging, moving pumps and hoses, heavy lifting)
    • Fill in for other roles onsite (security kiosk, silt control crew etc.)
    • Work outside in variable weather conditions, rain or shine
    • 12 hour work days (Approximately 40 - 50 hours per week)

    Skills / Qualifications

    • High School diploma
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Construction experience a plus
    • Positive attitude
    • Willingness to take direction
    • Must complete a personnel screening consistenting of a criminal backcheck and credit check 
    • Provide proof of training ( (e.g., transcript, first aid ticket, copy of degree/diploma/certificate)
