  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood's Design and Quality Management departments are seeking a Quality Management System Administrator/Document Controller for our Burlington, Ontario office.  The successful candidate will report to the office Quality Management System Lead and assist in the handling, processing, issuance and maintenance of project and Quality Management System documentation in accordance with agreed procedures. The successful candidate must be located locally within reasonable commuting distance from Burlington, Ontario.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure all project drawings and documentation (both in hard and electronical copies) are received, checked, accurately recorded and distributed in an efficient and expeditious manner according to established Project, QMS and Corporate procedures
    • Provide system generated reports on time 
    • Ensure that exception reports on late documentation are made available for management review as required
    • Provide formatting and document revision support
    • Ensure that all required project record files are being checked and maintained for compliance with QMS requirements
    • Provide full co-operation and support during the both internal and external audits as required
    • Undertake other administrative and document control tasks as required

    Skills / Qualifications

    Role Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 2-10 years of clerical experience
    • Cognizant of document processing principles and practices
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in documentation
    • Must be willing to work in Burlington, Ontario office

    Preferred Requirements

    • Engineering and/or construction office background with direct knowledge of vendor and engineering documents
    • Knowledge of main MS Applications (including VISO), SharePoint and Project Wise
