  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood currently has an exciting Project Controls Administrator opportunity available. Reporting to the Manager, Project Services this position is located in our Vancouver, BC office. This role has responsibilitiy for coordinating project related activities, performing administrative duties, assisting in preparing reports, reviewing and processing weekly timesheets, set up new employees in the timesheet system, coding, scanning and data inputting daily AP invoices.


    The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and is focussed on meeting deadlines. For this role, you will work with a team of Project Controllers and members of the Finance team, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Break assigned tasks into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals
    • Monitor all moving parts of your workload keeping them synchronized and moving forward
    • Prepare, organize, and distribute all required deliverables by the required deadline.
    • Review timesheets and processing weekly employee timesheets using a timesheet management system and submitting timesheet data to meet corporate deadlines.
    • Assist with Accounts Payable, e.g. invoice coding, scanning, data entry, responding to queries and filing.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Work experience as a Project Administrator or similar role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel, Word)
    • Solid organization and time-management skills
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
    • Propensity to multi-task
    • Deadline driven
    • Team spirit
