  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood’s Mining & Minerals business is seeking a Piping Lead. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, this position is located at our Saskatoon, SK office. If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast paced environment, this opportunity is for you.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Providing input and guiding the technical piping design for industrial plants and related infrastructure
    • Providing leadership to the piping project design team
    • Providing project management with regular updates, budgets, schedule and progressing of deliverables
    • Developing and maintaining positive, sustainable client relationships
    • Coordinating and working with project team members

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Project management experience (budgets, manpower plans, progressing of deliverables)
    • Leadership experience
    • 10+ years of relevant experience.  Experience with potash, uranium, heavy industrial, mining or smelting is an asset.
    • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Engineering Design & Drafting Technology
    • AutoCAD and 3D model experience is an asset
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills
