  • Overview / Responsibilities

    Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions currently has a 12-month position covering maternity leave for a Receptionist in our Burnaby office. This position is regular office hours 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have reception and administration experience, preferably within an engineering consulting firm.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Management of reception switchboard
    • Organization and support of meetings and workshops
    • Managing Security System
    • Coding of payables
    • Handle cell phone requests for staff and manage the accounts (Telus, Rogers, Bell)
    • Booking of rental vehicles
    • Maintain the CRM database
    • Allocate staff parking, process paperwork and maintain records
    • Assist in the preparation of expense reports for senior managers
    • Provide administrative support to other areas of the business when required
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Skills / Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Reception experience
    • Experience with an engineering consulting firm an asset
    • Good command of the English language
    • Reliable and punctual
    • Attention to detail
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Effective written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work independently and set work priorities
    • Able to work overtime when required
    • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure
    • Team player attitude
    • Professional appearance
