Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Environmental Field Manager to join our team in Port Hope, ON.
The Manager will provide a leadership field role for the Construction & Remediation Group, serving the function of coordinating and interfacing with other Wood E&IS environmental groups to properly staff construction projects being executed by the Construction & Remediation Group. This role will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with all environmental resources on all active construction projects within the group to ensure consistent delivery and compliance with contract requirements. Responsible for interaction and collaboration with other field construction disciplines (craft field operations, engineering, radiation protection, health and safety, quality, and field management) to solve problems and support execution of construction projects on budget and on schedule.
This position will appeal to a self-motivated individual with strong leadership and technical/practical abilities, excellent interpersonal/communication skills, and a solid work ethic, coupled with an interest in career growth. This position requires extensive (2+ years) hands on field experience implementing and managing a team of field environmental technicians on large construction projects being self-performed by Wood.
